Josh Broughton

Josh Broughton is a UK based music composer and producer. He specialises in moving image projects, specifically film and games. He graduated from Leeds College of Music, studying Music Production, with First Class Honours and won the "David Thompson Prize for BA Music (Production)" for achieving the highest mark in his year.

Josh is an experienced musician, having achieved ABRSM certified exam grades 6 and 7 in clarinet and piano respectively, and Trinity Guildhall grade 8 in drums.

His expertise is in composing orchestral scores, having had first hand experience playing in a number of orchestras, but his wide knowledge of musical styles will allow him to attain your desired sound.

He has composed music to a number of short films for clients including CBBC and completed the sound design to a selection of games, including a project for Second Life.
